Nylon 6/69 copolymer specially formulated for the ROTOMOLDING process. For uses where HIGH IMPACT properties are required. Heat stabilized for protection against elevated temperatures. Resistant to gasoline permeation. Chemical resistant to aromatic solvents. Permits a single-step process and a single layer material fuel tank.
Nylene 494P IM
For uses where high impact properties are required. Specially formulated nylon powder for the Rotomolding process. Chemical resistance to aromatic solvents, etc. especially at elevated temperatures Excellent low temperature impact properties (Special impact modified products) Higher heat resistance and melting point. Not as likely to melt or lose shape if left in the sun. Higher impact at room and elevated temperatures Permits a single step process and a single layer material fuel tank. This will reduce the chances of failure and scrap, which makes it extremely cost competitive
Nylene 494P IM BLK
Specially formulated black nylon powder for the rotomolding process. For uses where high impact properties are required. Dried to less than 0.20% moisture and packaged in foil-lined drums to eliminate the need for pre-drying. Higher heat resistance and melting point. Chemical resistance to aromatic solvents, etc. especially at elevated temperatures. Excellent low temperature impact properties (Special impact modified products). Higher impact at room and elevated temperatures. Permits a single step process and a single layer material fuel tank. This will reduce the chances of failure and scrap, which makes it extremely cost competitive. Meets the strict CARB and EPA fuel permeation regulations.
Nylene 494 BLK
Heat stabilized specially formulated nylon for the Rotomolding process to reduce cost vs. using 100% powder. For rotomolding, this product must be used in conjunction with Nylene® 494P BLK powder to achieve good part quality. Chemical resistance to aromatic solvents, etc. especially at elevated temperatures Custom colors on demand Higher heat resistance and melting point. Not as likely to melt or lose shape if left in the sun. Nylene NX1440
Nylene NX1440 is a nucleated medium viscosity, fast cycle molding resin. Parts molded from NX1440 have better dimensional stability at moisture equilibrium than parts molded from other nylon Parts molded have better dimensional stability at moisture equilibrium than parts molded from conventional nylon. Crystallization initiators provide fast molding cycles through rapid melt set-up. Most useful for applications requiring greater stiffness and a higher heat distortion temperature.
Nylene BX3LF
BX3LF is a self-lubricated polymer and has been developed to reduce the coefficient of friction which eliminates the need for additional lubrication in feeder-size THHN.
Nylene 743
Cylinder temperatures should be in the 435 – 525ºF range. Designed for excellent cold temperature impact. High impact modified nylon 6 suitable for both molding and extrusion. Parts molded from 743 have excellent impact strength right out of the mold without post conditioning. Outstanding high strength and high cold temperature impact.
