Compound Operator

Description

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time / Third Shift

Responsibilities

  • Prepare batches of product according to established formulas and procedures.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in the compounding process.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Document all activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is an asset.
  • Familiarity with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is preferred.
  • Experience with materials handling, warehouse operations, or forklift operation is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including batch records and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Proficient in using compounding equipment such as mixers, scales, and pumps.
  • Knowledge of fabricating and machining techniques is desirable for equipment maintenance.
