Nylene Canada is seeking an energetic, motivated, and career-driven individual to join our team as a Compound / Extrusion Operator. In this hands-on role, you will perform a range of physical tasks, including operating various tools, forklifts, and machinery. You’ll also be responsible for quality control, performing chemical and physical analysis, and ensuring that all operations follow safety protocols and workplace policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate hand and power tools, forklifts, and industry machinery.
  • Inspect outgoing products for quality and accuracy, ensuring that all items meet established standards.
  • Perform both routine and non-routine chemical and physical analysis of samples.
  • Follow Nylene Canada's procedures to maintain a safe working environment and ensure efficient production processes.
  • Comply with safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Be part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Forklift experience is an asset.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Completion of a mechanical comprehension test is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to reliably commute to Arnprior, ON, or willingness to relocate.
