Henderson, Kentucky USA

Formally operating as Custom Resins, this facility has the expertise in developing a wide range of additive packages for nylon homopolymers, co-polymers, and terpolymers.

This Nylene facility has developed a solid reputation for quality and specialty products and has gained more capabilities for higher molecular weights since it’s start-up in 1957.

With polymerization and compounding capabilities, this location manufactures nylon-based grades for nearly all types of thermoplastics processing such as; injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, rotational molding, film extrusion and casting.

With the expansion of its compounding facility in 2018, the site continues to provide an extensive selection of polyamides for molding and extrusion and is well positioned to meet the requirements and supply needs of customers of all sizes.

The nylon production processes at this site incorporate “closed-loop” advantages that allow by-products to be re-introduced and re-used.

In operation since 1966, the Arnprior facility offers a wide variety of high-quality products. Polymerization, de-polymerization, and compounding processes exist in this facility.

Nylene Canada offers high-quality products to the compounding market and wire and cable industry. This facility also produces regular, cationic, ultra-deep dye and cationic dye resin with built-in enhanced acid stain resistance for carpet fiber extrusion.

The site operates a nylon 6 depolymerization process and has done so since 1966; it is one of only three units in the world and is the longest continuously running one. The process is SCS certified.

The company owns/operates its own railway, which is the last remaining railway in Renfrew County.
