Full Job Description
- Minimal of two years experience as an Industrial Maintenance Tech is preferred
- Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician
- Perform, develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
- Troubleshoot plastic extrusion equipment and other equipment as problems occur
- Perform work on facility and other equipment such as loading docks, HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems
- Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Basic electrical experience
- Perform simple machinist duties
- Repair/replace parts, test and make adjustments to equipment
- Comply with all of company work and safety rules
- Plan and schedule repairs

Job Description:
The company is seeking a Process Engineering Technician who will support the development of products and implementation of processes to manufacture those products. The Process Engineering Technician will leverage their experience with equipment, processes, programs, materials, and design strategies to enable the production of innovative textile, garment and yarn products.
You will support, design and build out of a pilot production line to support ongoing process/product development and manufacturing. This position will require a very hands-on individual having technical experience with various equipment, machines & processes encompassing knowledge of machine setup, process troubleshooting, failure root-cause diagnosis, preventative maintenance measures, and programming capability.
You support, develop and implement new processes, tools, and standard procedures to scale up manufacturing and enable continuous improvement. Attention to detail is critical, a quality, safety and productivity mindset is paramount and interpersonal / communication skills must be well developed.
- Assist with commercial scale up of processes and products into full production.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing production.
- Required to operate manufacturing processes during initial product and process scale-up and debug phase
- Troubleshoot and address equipment related issues including minor maintenance and machine adjustments as required.
- Ensure product quality is achieved by monitoring all critical control points throughout the operation and making adjustments as necessary.
- Provide machine operation training to new full time employees and temps as requirement methodologies
- Documentation of procedures and other work, as required.
